Configure Switch Features

From the DHCP Pool field, choose the name of the IP address pool to
use for ring devices.
This pool must be previously configured as described on
.
DHCP persistance and DHCP for ring devices can coexist, but cannot
share the same pool.

To assign an IP address to a single ring member, click Add a Single Ring
Member into Table, and then compete these fields:
•
Ring Member—Type a value between 2 …255 to indicate the
location of the ring device. The switch is always ring member 1.
•
Hostname—Type a host name to associate with the IP address for the
ring member.
•
IP Address—Type the IP address for the ring member.

To assign IP addresses to multiple ring members, click Add Multiple
Ring Members into Table, and then complete these fields:
•
Ring Member…To—Type values between 2 …255 to indicate the
starting and ending locations of the ring members.
•
IP Address…To—Type the starting and ending IP addresses for the
ring members.
5.
Click OK.
