7.2.2 Error E2: PowerPack Depleted
Your insulin pump checks the PowerPack voltage before each insulin delivery (at least
every 3 minutes). If it falls below a certain value, an “Error E2: PowerPack Depleted”
occurs. Replace the PowerPack immediately.
Do the following:
1. Silence and confirm the error by pressing
f
twice.
2. Replace the PowerPack.
Please refer to section 3.1.2 “Change the PowerPack”
for further information.
3. When finished, put your insulin pump into
RUN
(press
d
and
f
).
7.2.3 Error E3: Automatic Off
This safety function interrupts the insulin delivery if no key is pressed within a certain
time interval.
Do the following:
1. Silence and confirm the error by pressing
f
twice.
2. Put your insulin pump into
RUN
(press
d
and
f
).
Caution:
If necessary, discuss the duration of the
automatic off function with your doctor or health
care team.
Confirmation of an error
Caution:
Silence an error by pressing
f
.This silences the beeps and vibra-
tions. The error code remains displayed. Confirm that you have seen and
understood the error and clear the error information from the display by
pressing
f
again. Your insulin pump is in
STOP
.
Caution:
After the occurrence of an error, your insulin pump is in
STOP
and the insulin delivery is interrupted. In order to maintain insulin delivery,
you must act immediately according to the instructions given for each
error code.
7. 2.1 Error E1: Empty Cartridge
If the cartridge is empty, an “Error E1: Empty Cartridge”occurs. Your insulin pump dis-
plays that the cartridge is empty. Change the cartridge immediately.
Do the following:
1. Silence and confirm the error by pressing
f
twice.
2. Change the cartridge.

for further information.
