This reference manual is written for you as well as health care professio-
nals. It is designed to provide you with the necessary information for safe
and efficient use of your insulin pump.
Please refer to the instructions for use of the accessories and disposables
needed to operate your insulin pump.
Intended use of your insulin pump
Your insulin pump is a prescription device and has been developed exclu-
sively for the continuous subcutaneous delivery of short-acting insulin
U100 or fast-acting U100 insulin analogues for the treatment of insulin-
dependent diabetes mellitus. Do not use your insulin pump for the delivery
of medications other than short-acting insulin U100 or fast-acting U100
insulin analogues. Do not modify the device in any way.
