3.4 Review basal rate programming
The basal rates should be reviewed:
• after any programming change (using your insulin pump or
your Accu-Chek DiaLog Pump Programming tool).
• after a PowerPack has been inserted.
• after confirming an “Error E7: Electronic Error”.
To review the programmed basal rates
1. Make sure your insulin pump is in
RUN
and the KeyLock is de-
activated or the keys are unlocked.

and changes made using the Accu-Chek DiaLog Pump Programming tool.

3.3.3 Change selected hourly basal rates
Any hourly basal rate can be changed without affecting the other hourly basal rates.
To change selected hourly basal rates
1. Make sure your insulin pump is in
RUN
and the KeyLock is
deactivated or the keys are unlocked.
2. Choose basal rate profile A or B by pressing
d
4 or 5 times.
The daily basal rate total is displayed. (In this example the
daily basal rate total is 18.0 units.)
3. Confirm with
f
.
The first hour, which always begins at midnight, (00:00–
01:00) is shown. The basal rate indication flashes and can
now be programmed in increments of 0.1 units.
4. Press
d
several times to move to the hourly basal rate which
you want to change.
