Changing IP settings by ABB IP Configuration Tool
To change the IP settings on a detected device, double click on the device you want
to configure in the list of devices. This will open up a dialog where you can enter the
desired IP configuration.
To obtain the necessary information about IP address, subnet mask etc., please
contact your network administrator.
Note:
Do not set DHCP to “On” if you do not have a DHCP server available on the
network.
To change the settings, you have to give the administrator password of the
SREA-01. The default password for authentication of the new settings is
admin
. You
can also change the password by typing the old password in the ‘Password’ field,
selecting the ‘Change password’ checkbox and typing the new password in the ‘New
password’ field.
Pressing ‘Set’ will cause the SREA-01 device to reboot and after that the new
settings will be enabled.
You can test the new settings by opening a web-browser and entering the IP you
assigned to the device. If you selected DHCP and want to know what IP your device
have been assigned, you can do a new scan with the ABB IP Configuration Tool to
view the new network configuration.

The default gateway
Primary DNS
The primary Domain Name Server (optional)
Secondary DNS
The secondary Domain Name Server (optional)
Host Name
Here you can enter a hostname of your device (optional).
