Connect the DC cables to the control box
Preliminary requirements
• Torque wrench
• Wire cutter
• Wire stripper pliers
•
• Four DC power cables (two
negative, two positive).
Refer to section
Procedure
1. Remove the nuts (A), washers (B)
and wire end rings (C) from the
bolts on the busbars (D) to (G).
2. Prepare the DC cables:
a. Cut the cables (H) to (J) to the
correct length to reach the
bolts on the busbars.
b. Strip the cables from insulation
from the wires. Make sure that
the strip length agrees with the
wire end rings (C).
c. Attach wire end rings (C) to the
end of the wires.
3. Connect these cables on the bolts:
a. DC- input cable (J) on the bolt
on the negative busbar (F)
b. DC+ input cable (H) on the bolt on the positive busbar (E)
4. Install washers (B) and nuts (A) on the bolts.
5. Tighten the nuts to the correct torque. For the specifciation, refer to section
20.5
.
