This chapter describes the operating principle and construction of the drive module.
Operation principle
The ACS880-14 is a regenerative drive module for controlling asynchronous AC induction
motors, permanent magnet motors, AC induction servomotors and ABB synchronous
reluctance motors (SynRM motors).
The drive includes a line-side converter and a motor-side converter. The parameters and
signals for both of them are combined into one primary user program.
