1000BASE Gigabit Interface Converter (GBIC) ports are hot-swappable,
that is, you can replace one GBIC connector while the other connectors
continue to carry traffic.
To ensure optimal compatibility, performance, and regulatory compliance,
use only GBIC transceivers and conditioned launch cables that 3Com
