Fabric Module
The capacity of the 24-Port Gigabit Ethernet Switching Fabric Module
(3CB9FG24T
)
is distributed across the slots in the chassis. The module
capacity is expressed in terms of
backplane ports
. When a switching
module is installed, its rear ports communicate with the switch fabric
module backplane ports that are assigned to its slot. The module’s 24
backplane ports are assigned to the chassis slots as indicated in Table 34.
