2. USING THE MINIGAS MK5
(3) After four seconds, the calibration due screen is displayed
- CAL dUE in the upper two banks and the date (day and
month) in the lower two banks, alternating with the yEAr
display. If the calibration due date has passed, the start-
up sequence is halted and an alarm sounds. In this event,
apply a medium or long press to the I/O button to resume
the start-up sequence. Alternatively, the Minigas Mk5 can
be switched off (see Section 2.5).
Note: Each of the four channels have their own calibration due
date, which is updated automatically when that channel
is recalibrated. The effective calibration due date for the
complete instrument is always that for the oldest
sensor(s).
(4) After six seconds, LOG is displayed in the upper right
bank. If the instrument log contains details of specific
events having occurred on any of the channels, then the
appropriate characters (for example, O, F, C etc) are
displayed in the lower two banks. A dash (–) indicates
no event. In the case of a fixed-log configuration, a low
( ) arrow is displayed if the log is more than half full.
Note: If the start-up sequence is halted by either of the
datalogging warnings (see Section 2.4.3), the sequence
can be resumed by a medium or long press on the I/O
button. Alternatively, the Minigas Mk5 can be switched
off (see Section 2.5).
(5) After two seconds, the final start-up screen is displayed,
which consists of all the display segments flashing
followed by the alarm indicators flashing accompanied
by a rapid bleeping audio tone.
(6) The Minigas Mk5 is now in Display Mode (see Section 2.7).
