Choose GENDER.

Select the appropriate gender button: FEMALE, MALE, OTHER,

UNKNOWN (default).

Note: It is recommended to enter the correct gender for the

patient as it is required by many EMR/PMS/DICOM systems.

Note: If you have HFA-NET Pro or DICOM Gateway software

licensed on your HFA II-

i

for use with EMR/PMS/DICOM software, it is

recommended to only change the gender on the EMR/PMS/DICOM
system, and not on the HFA, to avoid possible patient conflicts. This is
because if the gender is changed on the HFA, a new patient could be
created on the EMR/PMS/DICOM system.

on the test results printout.

Note: You may enter comments either before testing or after

testing is completed. If you are adding comments after a test is
completed, be sure to save the test results so that the new comments
will be saved.
