6.5 DFB-LD, FP-LD, and LED Measurement

Procedure

Light source parameters can be analyzed from the measured waveform of each light

source (DFB-LD, FP-LD, LED).

Press

ANALYSIS

. The soft key menu for analyzing measured waveforms

appears.

Press the

ANALYSIS 1

soft key. The analysis function selection menu is

displayed.

Press the

DFB-LD

FP-LD

, or

LED

soft key according to the type of light source

to be analyzed. Analysis is performed, and the results are displayed in the data

area.

When changing the analysis parameters

Continuing on from step 3, press the

PARAMETER SETTING

soft key. The

measurement parameter setting screen for the type of light source selected is

displayed.

Move the cursor with the arrow keys or soft keys, and enter a setting value with

the numeric key pad. To select a check box, align the cursor then press the

SELECT

soft key.

Press the

CLOSE WINDOW

soft key. The measurement parameter setting screen

closes, and the soft key menu returns to the previous stage.

Press the

ANALYSIS EXECUTE

soft key. Analysis is performed according to the

changed parameters, and the results are displayed in the data area.
