Replacing a fuse

WARNING

Be sure to use the specified fuse. A wrong fuse

CAUTION:

Be sure to turn the main switch to “OFF” and discon-
nect the negative battery lead to prevent accidental
short-circuiting.

1. Remove the shroud, the left and right side covers,

and the top cover. (See pages 8-5–8-7 for removal
procedures.) 

2. Remove the headlight unit bolts

, disconnect the

headlight couplers and speedometer coupler, and
then remove the headlight unit. 

3. Unhook the latch

 and disconnect the air tempera-

ture sensor coupler

. 

4. Loosen the joint clamp screws

. 

5. Slide the clamps

 away from the air filter case, and

then disconnect the crankcase breather hose

 and

the bypass air hose

 down, and then disconnect the air

filter case drain hose
