8. Connecting a host computer
As a standard feature, the robot controller has an RS-232C interface port for data communication with a
host computer. Most computer models having an RS-232C port can be interfaced to the robot controller,
by connecting between the COM connector on the front of the robot controller and the RS-232C port of
the computer.
For more detailed information on the RS-232C interface, see “RS-232C Interface” in Chapter 8.
