Exporting XIF to Other Image Formats
After you scan a document into a XIF file, from the Pagis Editor
you can export it to other image formats. This section describes
the following tasks:

Specify Save/Export preferences
In the Tools menu of the Pagis Editor, the Options command
displays a dialog box for specifying preferences for saving and
exporting images. The Options dialog box (Figure 4–51) is a
tabbed dialog with two tabs—General and Save/Export.

options to the front
Enter new compression
quality number or
adjust slider
Click OK when done

Under Save/Export options, you can define the compression
quality for color image segments in your document.
Enter a compression quality value between 1–100 (or simply
adjust the slider bar). A higher number provides better quality
with a larger file size. A lower number provides lesser quality
with a smaller file size.
