During scanning, Pagis Pro automatically converts the scanned
data into the target application’s file format. When scanning is
complete, Pagis Pro launches the target application and sends it
the formatted data.
To scan a document directly into an application:
1. Place the original document or photograph in the scanner.
2. Click the Scan icon on the Pagis ToolBar to display the
Scanner tab (refer to Figure 4–14).
3. Select the page type of the document to be scanned.
Select the page type that most closely approximates the document
you intend to scan. If you are not sure, the Any Document page
type is the default and works well for most documents.
4. Click the Properties button to fine-tune settings for the
document you are about to scan.

default properties for scanned documents.”
5. On the main Scanner tab, select the target application
from the Scan To list box.
The applications listed in the Scan To list box are those
applications that have shortcuts on the Pagis SendTo Bar.
6. Click the Scan button to start scanning.
As the page is being scanned, a Scanner Progress dialog box
tracks scanning status (refer to Figure 4–23).
7. To continue scanning go to Step 8. To end scanning and
save your document, go to Step 10.
