3. Create the annotation.
If it is a text annotation (Margin Note, Sticky Note), a typing
cursor appears and you can type in the text of your annotation.
You can change to the selection arrow to resize the box that
contains the text annotation.
If it is a graphical annotation (Highlighter, Arrow, Line, Circle,
Rectangle, Freehand), click, hold and drag the mouse to create
the annotation. With the Stamp annotation, point and click the
mouse.
Specifying annotation options
In the Annotate menu, or on the Annotate toolbar, the Options
command displays a dialog box that enables you to define the
appearance of the Highlighter, Text, Line/Arrow, and Stamp
annotations (Figure 4–48).
