5. Lubricate the control piston with lubricant and insert it into the control unit.
6. Insert the pressure spring into the control piston.
7. Insert shim and pin into the screw plug.
8. Lubricate a new O

−

ring with lubricant and put it on the screw plug.

9. Insert the screw plug into the control unit ensuring a centered position of the pin in

the pressure spring.

10. Tighten the screw plug to final torque using a torque wrench and an open

−

end torque

wrench head.

Tightening torque: 50 Nm

11. Mount the O

−

rings (HPFP) on the control unit and fix them in place with Vaseline.
