For all appliances:
Check if water drops out from the water
outcoming tube for the ice maker.
In this case, the valve does not close
completely. Change the valve.
For IDI appliances with R134 ice
maker:
Check if there will be taken too much
water quantity every cycle.
If yes, follow the instruction below to
adjust the water quantity filling.
Water fill adjustment
The quantity of water is time regulated and is serial adjusted to 7,5 seconds,
that estimates 125 ccm water (until range 2008 appliances) or 65 ccm water (for
range 2009 appliances).
When the small hole is centred in the larger
hole (see picture 1) the water fill adjustment is
for 7,5 seconds fill time (normal).
Turning the water level adjustment screw (see
picture 2) moves the contact in relation to the
contact ring segment (see picture 3).
Turning the screw clockwise = decreases
water filling
Turning the screw counter-clockwise =
increases water filling
A complete rotation (360°) effects a filling of
40 cm³ or 20,8 cm³ water (~ 2,4 sec),
depending on type of valve.
A half rotation (180°) effects a filling of 20 cm³
or 10,4 cm³ water (~ 1,2 sec), depending on
type of valve.
Note:
Only one rotation is possible. Further adjustment could damage the module!
If the adjustment screw falls out, just put it back in and align the hole in the sight hole as
shown in picture 1.
