Possible reason:
Wrong position of the Bimetal thermostat,
placed on the evaporator in the freezer compartment.
- If the surface is looking to the evaporator (down) or the
bimetal position is too low, the defrost cycle is too short and
not complete finished. Therefore we have the risk of not
defrost at all, so complete ice formation on the evaporator
(isolate).
- If the bimetal position is too high, the defrost cycle is too
long. Therefore we have the risk of unstable freezer
temperature up to reach food preservation limit.
The picture below,
shows you the correct
position of the Bimetal
thermostat (about 3 cm
between the bimetal
fixation point and the
first tube of the
evaporator). To avoid a
rotation of this part, fix
the cables with wire
stripes.
Fix the cable
at this place.

Sensor?
Check the sensor resistance
value according to the temperature
table on page 3 in this document.
If sensor defected or not
calibrated, change the sensor.
Evaporator internal fan?
Check if the
internal fan works.
Other possible reasons…
If fan doesn’t work, replace the
fan.
Compressor fan?
Check if the
compressor fan works (if not, the mid
trans bar temperature should increase
till 50°C)
If fan doesn’t work, replace the
fan.
