Icemaker E-module - Component diagnostic (forced harvest)
1.
Switch OFF the Ice-Maker using the User Board push-button.

Remove the cap hidden behind the E-module (Ice-Maker) service door (to see picture
below). It is not more necessary slide out the Ice-Maker of the mounting rails.
3.
Switch ON the Ice-Maker using the User Board push-button.
4.
Open the freezer door and press by means a pen or small screwdriver the push-button
behind the cap removed. A harvest should start in a few seconds, i.e the ice cube rake is
turning.
5.
Wait until the blades reaches the home position then verify that the water valve
(BLACK one) is engaged for 7,5 seconds ± 1 second in order to fill up the Ice-Maker
mould with the water coming from the tap.
6.
Test passed.
Note:
The forced harvest switch (bimetal bypass) allows the service engineer to check
motor function, heater (feel the mould for heat during 5 seconds after power-up), and
valve fill when it returns to home.
As you can notice this can now all be done without removing the Ice-Maker from
Freezer compartment.
