11.9 REPLACING THE DOOR SEAL

ATTENTION!

Operation to be carried out when the sterilization chamber is cold

•

Fully open the chamber door of the sterilizer.

•

Pull out the used door seal by hand.

•

Carefully clean the seal seat and the chamber face side with a cotton swab moistened with isopropyl
alcohol.

•

Moisten the new seal with water.

•

Insert the seal in the sequence as illustrated in the following diagrams:

FIRST: top and bottom

THEN: left and right

Complete the operation by evenly inserting the seal on the entire circumference.

Make sure that the door seal is properly placed to avoid air leaks. It must be evenly in-
serted on the entire circumference without any bumps or deformations.

ATTENTION!

Disposal of used consumables shall be done in compliance with local laws and rules
