8.3.3 Exchanging the Thermostat

Remove the thermostat from the mounting frame.

Remove the batteries or power pack from the defective thermostat.
X
Commission the new thermostat and log it in at the control unit.
X
Assign the respective circuit hubs to the thermostat.
X
Do a connection test and check the temperature settings.
8.3.4 Replacing the Range Externder
X
Disconnect the defective range extender from the 120V mains.
X
Commission the new range extender and log it in at the control unit.

Do a connection test at the range extender.
X
Log in all the thermostats that were logged in with the defective
range extender to the new range extender.

Do a connection test with the thermostats and check the
temperature settings.
8.3.5 Replace Supply Temperature Sensor
X
Pull the mains plug of the control unit (switch mains voltage off).
X
Use needle-nosed pliers to disconnect and remove the defective
supply temperature sensor.
X
Mount the new supply temperature sensor and plug in.
X
Reconnect the mains plug to the control unit.
X
Check the humidity sensor for proper function (fault indication at the
control unit or via the operating software).
8.3.6 Replacing the Ribbon Cable (Bus)
X
Pull the mains plug of the control unit (switch mains voltage off).
X
Unplug the defective ribbon cable and remove it.
X
Install the new ribbon cable and plug it in.
X
Check all cable connections at the first circuit hub for a tight fit.
X
Reconnect the mains plug to the control unit.
X
Check for proper function (fault indication at the control unit and the
circuit hub).
8.3.7 Replacing the Humidity Sensor
X
Pull the mains plug of the control unit (switch mains voltage off).
X
Unplug the defective humidity sensor and remove it.
X
Install the new humidity sensor and plug it in.
X
Reconnect the mains plug to the control unit.
X
Check the humidity sensor for proper function (fault indication at the
control unit or via the operating software).
8.3.8 Replacing the Control Unit
X
Pull the mains plug of the control unit (switch mains voltage off).
X
Pull off all plugs at the control unit and remove the control unit.
X
Mount the new control unit and plug in all cables.
X
Connect the mains plug again to the new control unit.
