4.3.7 Using / Logging into Range Extenders

Radio amplifiers need a power pack and a 120 V mains connection.
If the signal strength between thermostat and control unit is insufficient,

you can extend the range by a maximum of two range extenders.

A range extender can support a maximum of eight thermostats.

A maximum of two range extenders can be logged in to one control unit.

Should it be necessary to use two range extenders in parallel at one

control unit, repeat the steps explained below.
Before finally mounting the thermostat / range extender, check whether

a radio connection to the control unit / range extender can be

established from the installation site of your choice.
The thermostat remains logged in to the control unit.
Installing the range extender:

Log the range extender in to the control unit.

Log the thermostat in to the range extender.
