External Output
The external output can connect to the primary loop in several different
ways. Below is a common approach.

X Verify that the control unit is unplugged, or that the circuit is shut off.

Attach one end of some two-wire 18 AWG to the cable clip terminal
on the external output. Then attach the other end to the Viega Pump
and Boiler Relay (Model 2876.0US).
The external output is a dry contact (potential free).

Press the 18 AWG wire into the strain relief recess below the socket
to ensure the housing faceplate closes readily.
Socket for Future Radiant Cooling Function
This socket will be used for a future radiant cooling function.
