Installation and Assembly

Assemble the circuit hubs.
„
Install the control unit.
– Attach the supply sensor onto the intake of the supply header.
– Connect the long ribbon cable to both the first circuit hub and
control unit.

Connect the WLAN module.
„
Install the thermostat(s) and/or range extender(s).
3.3.2 Mount the Return Sensor Ports
Prerequisites

Manifold — completely installed
Components required
„
One return sensor port per circuit on the manifold
Required tools/materials
„
Wrench sizes: 20mm, 27mm, 30mm
Leak testing
The return sensor ports must be included during leak testing.
Mounting Sequence
X Thread the return header nut onto the return header, and tighten by
hand.
X Use a 20mm wrench to align the return sensor port.
Z The port for the return temperature sensor must point forward,
(perpendicular to the manifold's flow direction).
X Use a 30 mm wrench to tighten the SVC to return header connection
nut by approximately one quarter turn.
Viega recommends mounting and tightening the return
sensor ports one after another.
X Hold the return sensor port in place while tightening the SVC to
tubing connection nut using a 27mm wrench.
Freely rotating nuts enable tension free tubing mounting.
After mounting all return sensor ports, check them for correct alignment.
The ports for the return temperature sensors must point forwards,
(perpendicular to the manifold's flow direction).
