Hardware Set-Up Procedures
To log the range extender in, the following conditions must be met:
„
The range extender must be approximately 3.3 feet away from the
control unit.
„
The range extender must be connected to the power supply.
Log-in process
X Radio amplifier: Keep the “connect” and “ok” buttons pressed
simultaneously.
Z
The LEDs flash.
X Radio amplifier: Release the “connect” and “ok” buttons.
Z
“– –” is indicated.
X Control unit: Briefly press the “connect” button.
Z
The “connect” LED flashes.
X Control unit: Briefly press the “connect” button.
Z
The “connect” LED emits light.
X Radio amplifier: Briefly press the “connect” and “ok” buttons
simultaneously.
Z
“Con” is indicated briefly.
X Control unit: Press the “ok” button.
Z
The LED “connect” goes out — the log-in process is completed.
Logging the Thermostat into the Range Extender
The following conditions must be met so that you can log the
thermostat in to the range extender:
„
The thermostat must be logged in to the control unit.
„
The range extender must be logged in to the control unit.
„
The thermostat must be approximately 3.3 feet away from the range
extender.
Log-In Process
X Remove the batteries from the thermostat.
X Keep the “+” / “-” buttons at the thermostat pressed and insert the
batteries.
X Keep the “+” / “-” buttons pressed until both LEDS flash red.
X Radio amplifier: Press the “connect” button.
Z
The LED flashes.
X Radio amplifier: Press the “ok” button.
Z
The LED emits light.
X Room thermostat: Press the “+” and “-” buttons simultaneously until
the “connect” LED goes out.
Z
The thermostat briefly indicates “– –”, followed by the current
room temperature.
Z
The thermostat is logged in.
