Installation and Assembly

3.3.5 Install the Control Unit

DANGER!
Risk of electric shock!

Shut off the circuit before connecting the integrated power

adapter!

Prerequisites

Manifold — completely installed

Return sensor ports mounted

Powerheads mounted

Circuit hubs assembled

Components required

Control unit
–  Long ribbon cable (31.5 inch)
–  Supply sensor
–  Mounting hardware

Required tools/materials

A power drill that is appropriate for the mounting surface material

Mounting hardware that is appropriate for the mounting surface

material

Screwdriver

Scissors to cut the tail off of the supply sensor cable tie

Overview of Control Unit Sockets

Push in on the housing lock on the right side of the control unit to

release the housing faceplate.

Press the unlock button at the right side of the casing and remove

the cover.

The row of component connection sockets is now visible.

DANGER!
Risk of electric shock!

Verify the control unit does not have power before plugging

in component cables, or attaching wire to the cable clips.

The plug and socket cable connections are non-

interchangeable. They can only be used for their intended

purpose. Do not extend any cables that came with a RABS

component.
