The following topics show you how to use the Pre-shared Key Maintenance menu to generate,
export, import, export, or choose to use the default key.
Pre-shared keys are only used when configuring your VidyoGateways as a cluster. For more

A pre-shared key from Active Controller authenticates the cluster communication channel shared
among Standby Controller and Cluster Nodes. This communication channel remains among the
specific cluster in your system. Your system comes with a default pre-shared key, but allows you to
generate a unique pre-shared key for your cluster, if desired.
Use the following steps to configure the pre-shared key in a VidyoGateways cluster configuration:

Generate the pre-shared key from the Active Controller.
