5. Configuring Your System



Settings made while only clicking Save accrue and are applied when you subsequently
click Save and Apply or reboot your VidyoGateway server.



Configuring H.323 Settings

The

H.323

tab is used to configure your VidyoGateway H.323 protocol settings. However, before

you configure your H.323 settings, you must select whether you are using a Standalone
VidyoGateway (a single component acting as both Controller and VidyoGateway) or Clustered
VidyoGateways because the fields on the

H.323

tab change depending on which configuration you

set.

Note

Values you provide in the fields on the

H.323

tab are automatically propagated to your

Cluster Nodes. Therefore, the

H.323

tab does not display when accessed from your Cluster

Node servers. To make configurations on the tabs, you must access them from your Active
Controller.
