iCVR Config Tool

The config tool is used to configure new iCVRs without using the View software,
and to find cameras that have been misconfigured with the wrong IP address or
subnet.

Note:

To use this tool you must have a router that supports multicasting.

Accessing the Config Tool

Access to the config tool is available two ways:



Download it from the VideoIQ Support Site at http://support.videoiq.com/latest



Open the Tools Folder link on the VideoIQ Install CD. Copy and paste the
Configure iCVRs.exe file to your PC.

Double-click the .exe file to launch the tool.

Configuring an iCVR

1. Install the iCVR on your network.

2. Open the config tool.
