Appendix A
This Appendix includes the configuration of those features not supported by ViconNet but by the
MPD-980DN-O camera software.
There are a variety of video controls provided on the Main screen. The magnifier can be used to digitally
zoom. Video can be paused or stopped. Additionally, there are controls for volume, microphone, snapshot
and full screen.
IR Illuminators
Click on IR Illuminators to turn on the LEDs for 20 sec.
PTZ controls
The camera supports both digital (e-PTZ) and mechanical PTZ (through RS-485 connection). Patrols are
preset positions.
Global View
opens a window to display full view of the image plus an adjustable floating frame of the view-
ing region.
Click
Language
to select a language for the user interface. There are nine language options available.

to open those screens.
