verify that the ViconNet Nucleus is also in sync with the same server.)
“Manual”-
Adjust the date and time according to what is entered by the Administrator.
Notice the format in the related fields while doing the entry (yyyy/mm/dd and hh:mm:ss). Upon
camera start up, it will fail if the assigned time-server cannot be reached. Unlike ViconNet cameras, t
he I-ONYX cameras do not synchronize time with the Nucleus. These must be set manually or synch
ronized to an external network time server.
Automatic: “NTP server”-
Assign the IP address or domain name of the time-server. Leaving the
text box blank connects the camera to the default time-servers.

Update interval
”- Select hourly, daily, weekly, or monthly update with the time on the NTP server.
“
Time Zone
” (Advanced Mode): From the dropdown list, select the time zone for local settings. To
configure Daylight Saving Time, refer to the section on Maintenance, Upload/Export Daylight Saving
Time Configuration File.
“
Digital input
” Select High or Low to define normal status of the digital input. The current status is
shown. These can be used for alarm in sensors.

Digital output
” Select Grounded or Open to define normal status of the digital output. The current
status is shown.
This is not applicable for ViconNet.
Remember to click on
to immediately validate the changes. Otherwise, the correct time will not
be synchronized.
