General Settings

Maximum number of concurrent streaming connection(s) limited to
”: There is simultaneous live view-
ing for 1-10 clients (including stream 1 and stream 2). The default value is 10. If the number is modified and
Save is clicked, all current connections are disconnected and automatically attempt to relink. Click
View
Information
to display the connection status window showing a list of the current connections, including the
IP address of current connections, how much time each has been at the web page (Elapsed time) and the
User ID, if set.
Filter Type
Click
Enable access list filtering
and Save to enable this function. This allows two lists for permission con-
trol:
Allowed list
and
Denied list
. Only those users whose IP address is in the
Allowed list
and not in the
Denied list
can connect to the video server or camera to receive the video streaming.
Click
Add
to add a rule to Allowed/Denied list. There are three rules.
Single
allows the user to add an
IP address to the Allowed/Denied list.
Network
allows the user to assign a network address and corres
ponding subnet mask to the Allowed/Denied list.
Range
allows the user to assign a range of IP addres
ses to the Allowed/Denied list. If you want to remove an existing IP address, select the IP address
from the list and click on the
Delete
button.
Administrator IP address
“
Always allow the IP address to access this device
” – To make sure the Administrator can always
connect to the device, check this and add the Administrator’s IP address in the field. Click Save.
