INSTALLATION
Mounting the Dome
Select a location to support the weight of the camera dome. Make sure the area is free of obstacles that
could interfere with the installation of the dome. Run all necessary cables to the location.
Loosen the three screws securing the lower dome to detach the lower dome from the base. Follow the steps
below to secure the camera dome mounted to the ceiling, a wall or in a drop ceiling. A bottom base is in-
cluded with the camera dome for securing it to a ceiling or wall.
Mounting to a Ceiling
1.
Attach the supplied alignment sticker to the ceiling
.
2.
Using the 10 circles on the sticker, drill 4 pilot holes symmetrically on each side into the ceiling. Insert the
four supplied plastic anchors into the holes.
3.
Insert the four supplied screws through the four holes on the bottom base and into the corresponding
holes in the ceiling; secure the bottom base to the ceiling surface.
4.
Feed the cables through hole A or B; if using hole B, remove the rubber plug with a screwdriver.
5.
Secure the camera base to the bottom base with three supplied screws.
