Problem Cause Troubleshooting
Steam too wet The stop valve of the condensate drain is
closed. Open the stop valve.
Insufficient or no steam The supply is dirty.
The steam nozzle is dirty.
The steam valve is defective.
The timer is defective.

ERROR 1: UPPER
REED-CONT. MOTOR
No signal from upper reed sensor.
Magnet on the slide doesn’t reach the
upper reed.
Check the distance of upper between reed
sensor and the magnet. Adjust it if too far.
Replace defective reed. Replace defective
servo motor.
ERROR 2: BOTTOM
REED-CONT. MOTOR
No signal from bottom reed sensor.
Magnet on the slide doesn’t reach the
bottom reed.
Check the distance of bottom between
reed sensor and the magnet. Adjust it if
too far. Replace defective reed. Replace
defective servo motor.
ERROR 3:
EEPROM SAVE
Fail to save some values to memory Restart the machine. If recurrence,
replace the Controller/Processor.
ERROR 4:
EEPROM READ
Fail to read some values from memory Restart the machine. If recurrence,
replace the Controller/Processor.
ERROR 5:
MOTOR-CURRENT
No current flows to the motor.
Current detector cable short circuited to
the ground or not connected to the main
board
Check the motor and wiring. Replace
defective servo motor.
ERROR 8: SIGNAL
MOTOR-BRIDGE
No Signal of motor-bridge
Motor-bridge faulty
Error at the motor
Check motor-bridge.
Check the motor and wiring. Replace
defective servo motor.
