FAS-402-CH/ FAS-602-CH Series Operating Instructions Ver. 1.05E
The nozzle height that comes out from the seal area can
be finely adjusted to the optimum level for each
operation.
1
Lift up the frame cover.
2
Turn the hollow set screw on the top of the
nozzle supporter with the 2.5mm hexagonal
wrench.
To lower the height : Turn right (clockwise)
To raise the height : Turn left
(counterclockwise)
The separate air source is required to operate the FAS-
402-CH, FAS-602-CH series.
Compatible Compressor
Clean air: 0.75kW, 80L/min, 0.5MPa or greater
Air Piping
Use the air tube or hose.
Adjust the Air Pressure
Pull up an air pressure adjustment knob and turn it clockwise
to increase the air pressure. Push the knob at the optimum
position to set the air pressure, and lock it by fitting into the
grooves.
[Air pressure setting value: 0.35 MPa]
How to Decrease the Air Pressure
Pull up an air pressure adjustment knob and turn it
counterclockwise. At this point the air remaining inside the
piping will not be released and air pressure remains the same.
This residual air can be released by depressing a foot switch.
You will see the air pressure decreases.
Set air pressure to the desired air pressure by turning the knob
clockwise. Push the knob at the optimum position to set the
air pressure, and lock it by fitting into the grooves.
Air Cock
After connecting the air piping, open the air cock and adjust
the air pressure.
After the operation, please make sure to close the cock.
Filter Regulator
7-4 Adjust the nozzle height
7-5 Set up the air source
Please be careful as the pressure lever opens with
the air pressure by opening the air cock.
Caution
Insert the air tube or hose fully to the air regulator
connector, and fix it using the hose band.
