This section describes options that are available for the VC350AG AutoGlue
Control system. Options for the VC350AG system include:
• Channel II upgrade
• Scanner logic module kit
Single-channel units may be converted into 2-channel units by ordering a
second-channel kit for the VC350AG control. The control can be upgraded
in the field. See Section 12—Part-Number List for the part number.
An available scanner-logic-module kit (Figure A-1) permits the use of
multiple scanners (1 to 4) to produce a single input signal to the control. The
kit is designed for applications that involve gluing two or more products
together. For example, if two products are being glued together, two
scanners are used to detect each product; the glue system is triggered only
when both of the scanners detect product. See Section 12—Part-Number List
for the part number.
The scanner-logic-module kit consists of a small logic module and module
socket that can be installed inside the control box. Installation and setup
instructions are included with the kit. The logic-module kit is small enough to
fit inside most Valco controls and does not require special connectors. The
module re12VDC and works with any standard Valco scanner.
