Introduction
This section contains instructions for operating the VC350A.
Job Setup
To set up a job, follow these steps:
1. Measure the distance from the leading edge of the product (first edge seen by the scanner) to the point at
which the glue pattern should begin (Figure 8-1).
2. Enter this dimension as the “Flap” value on the front panel of the control unit (Figure 8-2).
Note! Values can be entered as follows:
1000-line encoder: 99.99 inches
250/500-line encoder: 999.9 inches or 9999mm
3. Measure the distance from the leading edge (first edge seen by the scanner) to the point at which the glue
pattern should stop (Figure 8-3).
4. Enter this dimension as the “Glue” value on the front panel of the control unit (Figure 8-2).

250/500-line encoder: 999.9 inches or 9999mm
