Running the VC350AG Control
Complete the following steps to set up the VC350AG Control
for operation with the BOARDRUNNER Glue Station.
1. Set the glue-flow knob on the front panel of the control to
the middle position (12 o’clock).
2. Turn on the electrical power to the control unit.
3. Put the AutoGlue Switch in the UP position/LED on.
4. Set the front-panel “Start” and “End” switches in order to
apply a sample glue pattern of .50 and .50. Run a box at slow
speed.
4a. Measure the distance from the leading edge of the tab
(first edge seen by scanner) to the point
at which the glue pattern begins.
4b. Divide the measurement by .50 and put that number
in the ratio compensation switch. Measure the
distance from the back tab edge (last edge seen
by scanner) to the point at which the pattern stops.
5. Run the machine at fast speed and, if needed, adjust the
ON and OFF delay switches to increase the delay times
per the chart on the inside of the cabinet door. This will
adjust the pattern at higher speeds.
Note! If pattern starts too late, adjust DS1 to increase time.

crease time.
Note! All switches should be preset at the factory when using the VC350AG and BOARDRUNNER. The only
switches in need of adjustment are Ratio Compensation.
After setup is complete, adjust the glue flow knob for more or less glue pressure.
