Section 6 - Installation

The JP2000 shuts down the parent machine if jammed product flow is
detected. For information about how to operate the JP2000 jam preventer,
see the

JP2000 Jam Preventer Installation and Operation Manual, PN

MC006. To install the JP2000 jam preventer, follow these steps:

Mount the jam sensors on the parent machine.

Connect the jam sensors to the JP2000 as described in the
JP2000 Jam Preventer Installation and Operation Manual, PN
MC006.

Connect the VC350AG control to the JP2000 using the diagram
below (Figure 6-17).

Connections are made to interface board J7 as shown.

Make all other connections per the

JP2000 Jam Preventer

Installation and Operation Manual, PN MC006.

A JP2000 operates at 100 pulses per
inch. Therefore, a VDD-1000 encoder
(1000-line encoder) needs to be
operating with the VC350AG control.
