Z-signal (start signal)—Allows the encoder to be used as a start signal
instead of scanner 5. The Z-signal function requires a 1:1
encoder ratio.
The duration of the start signal should
be at least 10 microseconds (ms);
otherwise, the start signal is
disregarded.

To program time, date, and PIN code, follow these steps:
1.
Press F4 (CLOCK). The time/date/PIN-code configuration screen
displays.

Using the arrow keys, move the cursor to the “New time” field.
3.
Using either the numeric keypad or the scroll buttons, enter a
new time if necessary.
4.
Using the arrow buttons, move the cursor to the “SET” field.
5.
Press the ENTER button to enter the new information into
memory.
6.
Using the arrow keys, move the cursor to the “New date” field.
7.
Using either the numeric keypad or the scroll buttons, enter a
new date if necessary.
8.
Using the arrow buttons, move the cursor to the “SET” field.
9.
Press the ENTER button to enter the new information into
memory. The cursor automatically moves to the PIN-code field.
10. Using the numeric keypad, type a PIN-code number.
The maximum length of the PIN code is
11 numbers.
11. Press the ENTER button (or press the ESC button to return to
previous data).
