The LED next to the valve number illuminates when the valve is
open. The LED goes out when the valve is closed.

These buttons are used to choose the function of valve-selection
buttons 1 to 8.
•
MAN = manual mode (test function)
Pressing this button activates the manual mode (the “MAN”
LED illuminates).

AUTO = automatic mode
Pressing this button activates the automatic mode (the
“AUTO” LED illuminates).

If the control is in the
manual mode

manual mode, pressing a valve-
selection button activates the valve. The valve is active as
long as the valve button is pressed. Manual mode can be
selected during production (the control will continue to apply
glue patterns). Valves can be activated by pressing and
holding the valve-selection button.The green LED illuminates
to indicate that the valve is activated.

automatic mode, pressing a valve-
selection button causes the programmed glue-pattern
information to be sent to the valve(s) selected. Pressing the
valve-selection button a second time will turn off the selected
valve(s).

The valve-selection buttons have a special function when
copying a glue pattern in the “glue-pattern-edit menu.” A glue
pattern can be copied to a valve by selecting a valve-
selection button with a blinking light.
Valve-selection button LEDs:
LED off = Valve has not been selected.
LED green = Valve has been selected.
LED red = Fault indicator. Check the fuse, voltage, etc.
