Effect
Credit Mode 2
– EDC mode
Normally, the card reader will only accept valid
major credit cards, fleet cards, and pass cards. If
the “Accept Propriety” setting is enabled, the
reader will also accept proprietary credit/debit
cards.
Credit Mode 3
– Generic
Terminal mode
Same effect on the reader as Credit Mode 2.
Credit Mode 4
– POS Auth
mode
The card reader will accept any credit/debit card
swiped, as well as fleet cards and pass cards.
Credit Mode 5
– EDC Sheetz
Mode
The card reader will accept any credit/debit card
swiped, as well as fleet cards and pass cards.
Credit & Coupon
If this is disabled, the card reader will not accept
card swipes that occur after a coupon code/card
entry but before the purchase of a wash.
Allow Upgrades
If this is enabled and the credit mode is 4, the card
reader will accept credit/debit card swipes that
follow wash purchases, as long as an upgrade is
available.

Thermal Printer Assembly
The printing operation involves the use of three different components. These components are
the main CPU, the printer control board, and the print head mechanism. These components
are located in different positions throughout the Wash Select II. The following sections
contain information and procedures important for peak operating performance.
If you look towards the CPU, the section in the upper right hand corner just to the right of the
setup/operate switch deals primarily with the printer. There you will find two push button
switches mounted on the board labeled "Feed" and "Reset". You will find the printer control
board mounted on the inside right wall of the Wash Select II case, just above the CPU board.

Replacing the Printer Paper
Replace printer paper when you see a red mark running down the side of the receipt or the
unit is reporting Paper low.
