Automatic Batching
You can set the Wash Select II to open and close a batch automatically. When Automatic is
selected, the Wash Select II will open and close a batch every night at 11:00 p.m (11:45 if
Credit Mode is 5). If the Wash Select II is off at that time, the batches will be attended to the
next time the Wash Select II is turned on.
When the batch closes, a batch report will print at the primary POS4000.
Note:
Auto batch Closes and Opens cannot happen while in Setup Mode.

Using the toggle switch at the top of the CPU board, place the Wash Select II in
setup mode by moving the switch toward the back of the Wash Select II case.
(The CPU board is located on the inside right wall of the Wash Select II case.)

GiveX
The GiveX option allows customers to pay for their wash at the entry system using the GiveX
gift card.
Major hardware components comprising this option include a specially programmed credit
modem.
GiveX cards are processed like major credit cards, so the Wash Select II must be in the EDC
credit mode with this option. GiveX transactions are sent to the modem, which sends the
request to the network. The network then either sends back an authorization code or declines
the request.
In order for the Wash Select II to allow GiveX card swipes, the “Accept Propriety” setting must
be enabled in the Wash Select II software. Instructions for enabling this setting can be found
in Section 2.3.16.
