POS Auth Timeout
This setting allows you to decide how much time to allow the POS authorization device to
give the final authorization needed to arm the wash in a POS auth transaction. Under normal
operating conditions, the default setting should be used. Only change it if absolutely
necessary.
Follow the steps below to configure the POS auth timeout.
1.
Using the toggle switch at the top of the CPU board, place the Wash Select II in
setup mode by moving the switch toward the back of the Wash Select II case.
(The CPU board is located on the inside right wall of the Wash Select II case.)
2.
Scroll through the main menu until the "Credit System" option is displayed. Press
the (*) key to enter.

Scroll through this sub-
menu, until the “POS Auth Timeout” option is displayed.
Press the (*) key to enter.
4.
Enter any number that falls within the displayed range, and then press the (*) key.

Set Network Parameters (Credit Mode 5 Only)
The DataTran modem must be configured with the proper Network Parameter information.
IP addresses are entered in four groups
(called “octets”) of up to three digits each, separated
by decimal points. To enter a decimal point at the Wash Select II, use the wash select button
beside the Wash 3 display (second display from the top).

You must enter the Store Number, the Carwash IP address, and the last octet of the Gateway
IP address.
