To enable Optioning:
1.
Using the toggle switch at the top of the CPU board, place the Wash Select II in
setup mode by moving the switch toward the back of the Wash Select II case.
(The CPU board is located on the inside right wall of the Wash Select II case.)
2.
Using the (3) key to scroll forward and the (1) key to scroll back, scroll through the
main menu until t
he “Wash Interface” option is displayed. Press the (*) key to
enter.

Scroll through this menu until the “Optioning” option is displayed, and then press
the (*) key to enter.
4.
Press the (1) button for “YES” to enable or the (3) button for “NO” to disable, and
then press the (*) key.
If you chose to enable Optioning, you will then need to set the Features, Option prices and
names, located under the Wash Setup menu (See Section 2.5); and the Option display
messages, located under the Text Message Menu (See Section 2.7). Press the (1) button for
“YES” to enable or the (3) button for “NO” to disable.
Once Optioning is enabled, the following submenus will be shown:
Prompt : “Require Receipt?” (Default is N)
Prompt : “Require Printer?" (Default is N)
Prompt : “Ask Code Users?” (Default is N)
Prompt : "Wash association" (Default is all washes)
Option Relays
o
Prompt : “Option # (1-3)?”
o
Prompt : “Relay (0-8) 0=Disable “ (Default is 0)
Require Receipt:
When enabled, the WSII will automatically print a receipt for a
customer if they purchase an option, without prompting them if they want a receipt. It
should just automatically print at the end of the transaction. If Require Receipt is
enabled, wash name and option name will be printed at the bottom of the receipt in big
font.
Require Printer:
When enabled will disable the prompting of options at the WSII if the
Printer is not working. Redemption of POS4000 codes with options attached will yield a
printout inside the C-store notifying an option was purchased and printer is not
functioning (show the wash and option purchased along with timestamp).
Ask Code Users:
When enabled the WSII will prompt for an option sale if the customer
entered a code, before arming the wash,.
Wash association
: Set the availability of an option to a particular wash. When an
option is disabled for a wash, when that wash is selected, the disabled option will not be
offered for selection. But this option will be offered if a wash, for which this option is not
disabled, is selected.
Option Relays:
Set relay pattern for each option so that relay(s) will be fired if the option
is purchased. If they configure a relay that is being used for washes, then prompt a
warning.
