Text messages are different messages that appear within the Wash Select II system such as
receipt messages and the second line of the wash display. Upper and lower case letters are
available for display and printing.
Refer to Figure 3 for the different characters available for each key. Press each key until the
desired character displayed. The key will cycle through each upper and lower case character
first, then the number, then punctuation. Press the (#) key to accept the character and
continue to the next character. When you have finished entering the Text Messages, press

Configure Receipt Header Message
The receipt header consists of four separate lines of text, which may contain up to 27
characters each. You will have the option of changing each line one at a time or all four lines
at once. If you would like to have your messages centered, it will be helpful to plan them.
With the optional thermal printer, your unit can be programmed to print up to four lines of
customized text /header messages on the receipt. To program these messages:
1.
Using the toggle switch at the top of the CPU board, place the Wash Select II in
setup mode by moving the switch toward the back of the Wash Select II case.
(The CPU board is located on the inside right wall of the Wash Select II case.)
2.
Using the (3) key to scroll forward and the (1) key to scroll back, scroll through the
main menu until the “Text Messages” option is displayed. Press the (*) key to
enter.
3.
The first option to be displayed will be “Receipt Header”. Press the (*) key to
enter.
4.
You have the option of programming one line at a time or all four lines at the
same time. The display will read “Enter Line #1-4 or 0 = All”. Each line can hold
up to twenty characters of text. If you wish to program each line separately, press
the number of that line (1-4) and then press the (*) key to enter. If you would like
to program all four lines of the header message, press 0 and then press the (*)
key to enter.
