FOR COIL & SPRING REPLACEMENT
All operations are performed with the strike in the upright position
1) Remove the back cover and coil as
shown. (3-screws). Remove two 1/8”
back case

2) Insert assembly pin (provided) to remove
latch pin & latch.
Note:
The slider should fall
thru the strike body af
ter latch is removed
(remove) slider & slider guard.

change the action,
remove the slider
from the frame and reverse it
s ends.
Determine handing, and top of strike. Position
slider guard as shown. Note:
Tabs of slider
guard must fit into slot
s in case with very loose
fit to change action.
4) Place the slider back in the frame with
the fail safe end up by the coil. With
slider guard in position insert slider from
the top, fail safe side up (as shown).

service spring
, using replacement kit.
Remove assembly pin from latch, releasing
spring. Insert replacement spring, positioned
as illustrated. Hold spring in position, place
assembly pin through latch and spring hole.
6)
Align slider t
abs under slider guard, as
shown. Hold slider in position with finger from
back of case.
