Testing the Bill and Coin Acceptors
To test the bill acceptor
1. In the COIN & BILL ACCEPTOR area, press the TEST button.
The test screen appears.
2. Insert a bill into the bill acceptor.
The screen refreshes, showing the denomination of the bill that was inserted and the origin of the bill (first or
second bill acceptor).
3. This is the default bill acceptor configuration:
• accepts only $1, $5, $10, and $20 bills
• four-way bill direction
• high security bill acceptance
• long pulse (do not change this setting)
To change the settings follow the directions on the side of the bill magazine.
4. Make sure that the bill is properly stacked. Instructions for removing the bill are located on the back of the bill
acceptor magazine.
5. For the Canadian model only, repeat step 1 and insert a coin into the coin acceptor.
The screen refreshes, showing the value of the coin inserted.
